GUNNERSENS Nevamar The unique Armored Protection technology (ARP Surface®), is a feature of nearly all of the Nevamar® high-pressure laminate colours. This patented technology protects the colour layer of laminate by reducing surface wear caused by common abrasive substances such as sand particles, dirt, dust, paper bags and boxes. Armored Protection also reduces gloss change allowing surfaces to look newer for longer. The Armored Protection surface is a thin deposit of microscopic aluminium oxide particles that acts as a protective layer on the laminate surface. Aluminium Oxide is harder than common everyday objects protecting the laminate against wear caused by sliding across the surface providing an extraordinary abrasion and scuff resistant surface for superior wearability.
